Why I don’t do residential real estate closings.

Q: You are a real estate lawyer.  Can you do my house closing?

A: I made a conscious decision not to do house closings for the general public many years ago. Why?

To be perfectly honest, given the nature of residential real estate, it’s just not an area of law in which I can add the most value for you.

By focusing on commercial real estate, along with business transactions and wills and trusts, I can make the most significant impact on your success and security. I appreciate your understanding and trust in guiding you or your business through the legal landscape.

Buying or selling a home is a significant event, and we want to ensure that you have the best support for your house closing. So if you need assistance in this area, please ask; I am more than happy to refer you to excellent colleagues who handle residential real estate transactions.
